
NDF distributes 127 Shelter kits in flood hit areas
BANDHI: NDF Pakistan with the support of USAID, Concern Worldwide and Mojaz Foundation, distributed 127 shelter and kitchen set kits among flood hit villages Wali Muhammad Dahri, Koral Mari, Lal Bux Ujjan and others. NDF President Abid Lashari said that floods and rains have caused so much damage in Sindh that despite the passage of five months, thousands of families are forced to live under the open sky. The above international and national private organizations have provided to NDF Shelter Assistance with bamboos, Plastic sheets, utensils and other essential materials to construct 2200 temporary shelters for four union councils of Bandhi, Amerji, Ghandtar and Abul Hasan Dahri of Shaheed Benazir Abad district. In the second phase of the project, assistance will be distributed to 2000 families of Union Councils Manhoro, Sun and Kadhar. He further said that in this difficult time, we consider it our social responsibility to provide timely assistance to the flood victims. NDF has paid much attention to the disabled, elderly, women, children, minorities, transgenders among the flood victims. Elected representatives and dignitaries of the area mr. Aitzaz Parvez Dahri, Mr. Ayaz Ali Dahri, Mr. Lal Chand, Mr. Muhammad Yaseen Tunio, Mr. Yaseen khaskheli, Ms Mehnaz Pirzada, Mr. Azhar Gondal, NDF Representatives Mr. Tariq Hussain Channar, Mr. Mir Hassan Chandio, Mr. Manthar Magsi, Mr. Akhtar Sial, Shahid Shah, Irfan Lashari and others were also present on this occasion.
