FREE EYE SCREENING CAMP

GSE & RC, Gulistan-e-Jauhar Karachi, in collaboration with Karachi Airport Lions Eye Bank Welfare Society, organized a Free Eye Screening Camp for students and staff (both teaching and non-teaching) alike. The camp was held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the auditorium of Government Special Education & Rehabilitation Complex, Karachi.

The management of Karachi Airport Lions Eye Bank Welfare Society including Mr. Lion Nazim Rajani, President and Capt.(R) Abrar Hussain, Director, also paid a special visit to the complex and expressed their pleasure over services being provided to the students with special needs at various sections. The delegation was welcomed and guided by Mr. Nadeem Ibrahim, Director GSE & RC Karachi.

As much as 172 special students from all four sections of the complex were screened during the camp for their vision and any other major eye abnormality along with their respective staff.
